lets have a laugh

Let me sum up the past week in my life. Last friday ( i think..or maybe it was two weeks ago..lol) anyways, I was at the casino with my 2 of my super hot favorite girls...lost lots of money but that is a whole other story...but was walking around with toilet paper hanging out of my pants.

The next day I went to a friends house.. and well to make a long story short slipped and fell right into the garbage can.

Few days later.. I tried to be a gymnast and somersaulted right smack into the coffee table.
Was going to get an ice pack and instead of walking up the stairs I fell right smack into the wall.

A few hours later I had a great (NOT) idea to play with a lighter and set my own hair on fire and burned my cheek. thank goodness for concealer. dont try that..

Rewind to 2004.. Working at Tutor Time. There was an incident where we (me, my co teacher and friend Lisa along with lots of 3 year olds )were jumping in one of those large blow up jumping castle things. Anyways, again I was trying to be a gymnast and got caught in the side of castle. Twisted up in the protection net... it was quite possibly the funniest moment i have ever had.. Back to 2010 anyways I was at Target and I turn around and there is a little boy named Jacob. He was In my class of three year olds and he was in the castle and happened to help assist in rescuing me. He says hello and says "I can never forget you. You're the teacher that got stuck in the castle. It was so funny."

Why I am telling you all this? Because its freaking hilarious. I really find most my accidents really funny. The best medicine you can give your self is to laugh. Someone said you want people to laugh at you? No I want you to laugh with me. I do take the throne of being the most accident prone proudly.

Lol.. to prove my point. the other day Chris (after the somersault and being stuck like a turtle incident)looks at me and says "Marie" (he and I call each other by our middle names occasionally) he continues with the most seriously look ever. .."living with you is like living in the family matters" (the tv show from the 1990's).. I asked him why?
Chris then says.." because you are clumsier than Steve Urkel.
hahahahaha.. it was quite possibly the funniest thing he has ever said because Steve Urkel was beyond clumsy on that show.
Anyways, the point is life is short. You shld be the first one to smile and giggle at yourself. I have found the clumsiest moments in my life often create the funniest and fondest memories.
I dont know what I would be if I wasnt accident prone, and able to laugh. Laughter heals the heart and is good for the soul. I refuse to take my self seriously ( atleast sometimes)
So what have i learned:
1. Im not meant to be a gymnast. Not in 04' not in 2010
2.There are certain things that should always be done inside and away from bushes, garbage cans and drive ways.
3. Dont play with matches
4. No matter how bad my day, My lil brother can make me giggle like no one else.
5. check your pants before leaving the bathroom..lol
im sure there will lots more memories, injuries and funny stories so to that I say Bring it on and cant wait to laugh with you.
